So does that mean it would not run precise Pangolin, because I think there is a newer Ubuntu already.Lost Motorcyclisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08873504561959138792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156536327610779049.post-19886239600655837812013-02-20T09:07:41.262-05:002013-02-20T09:07:41.262-05:00You write, 'I noticed that those advertisement...You write, 'I noticed that those advertisements have been getting more and more aggressive of late, popping up over, or delaying the main videos.'

Yes, of course, it's about, 'Money, money, money' - making the business model work. Not only aggressive overlays, commercials before the video starts, but a whole raft of other obstructions (e.g. 'Register for free before you can read the rest of this article.')

It didn't take long for the Web to go commercial, but we're now a long, long way from banner ads :-(

But, speaking of Ubuntu releases, I received a 'PC-On-A-Stick' for Christmas, and have finally got around to playing with it (long delay in receiving my 'air mouse' from the Pacific Rim). It natively boots to Android 4.0, but apparently will boot to Ubuntu from a microSD card.

I haven't tried that yet, but ... it's on my list ...
