But apparently there were 304 cars sold world wide, so it is a production vehicle. Impressive numbers from that link. 16 Cylinders, 800 hp, $1.7 million dollars, 3 mpg. 431 kph top speed.

Anyway, got to get those slow moving Testarossas off the public roads. They are clogging up traffic.Lost Motorcyclisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08873504561959138792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156536327610779049.post-13143317347644218622010-11-17T08:55:42.731-05:002010-11-17T08:55:42.731-05:00It was my understanding that the quickest 'pro...It was my understanding that the quickest 'production' car was VW's Bugatti Veyron, with a 0-60 time of about 2.5 seconds.

But it's been said that many of us ride motorcycles because we 'get Ferrari acceleration for the price of a Chevy' ;-)

I believe the Suzuki Hayabusa is also capable of 0-60 times equal to the Veyron and the V-Max (i.e. 2.5 seconds).

However, I hope I never find myself in a riding situation where I'm relying on the difference between a 0-60 time of 2.5 seconds as opposed to 2.7 seconds ... LOL!!

My old Kawi W650 accelerates at a sedate 0-60 time of over 5 seconds (as slow as a Testarossa) so I'm always very careful when merging back onto freeways ;-)Madeyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593933575568389288noreply@blogger.com
