I suppose one can argue that white is blac...Oh, my. I suppose one can argue that white is black and vise versa until the bovines return to the barn. But, really, this amounts to little more than pettifoggery.

The philosophical sina qua non of fascism is subordination of the individual to the corporatist state, the rejection of individualism. The other attributes, such as the concept of the leader principal and the single-party state are secondary and simply arise from corporatism.

The essence of liberalism - as least as most writers understand it - is individual liberty and equality of rights within the state. The other attributes, such as democracy and the rule of fair and equal laws arise from that essence of liberalism and are often subject to quibbling over details among liberals (who, unsurprisingly, love to quibble over details).

Sure, white can be 'like' black ... under certain circumstances. One could just as readily argue, by cherry-picking facts as Goldberg has done, that Hitler was a liberal.

But that kind of analysis is a waste of time, and really does amount to little more than pettifoggery.Madeyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593933575568389288noreply@blogger.com
